Yes, thanks to all the lepers of the North Vietnam whom we met during this Mission. Thanks to these deeply handicapped persons without legs or hands, with their faces distorted by a former but destructive leprosy. To us, all of them were signs of Man’s Beauty  even if they have lost the visible beauty. It is very humbly that we went to them. They amazed us by their courage and their hope. By the tactful behaviour they proved between one another.

This report cannot be ended without this wonderful word of the ” leader ‘ of the Christian community of one of the centers where we worked: ” I want to be fitted with my artificial limb after all the others because I am responsible for the Christians here“…
